Eggplant with rice
1 kg eggplant, ½ kg rice, oil, dried tomatoes, water. Boil for 1 hour with the solar parabolic. One subtlety: less water is wasted if the rice with eggplant is placed early in the morning, in a weaker sun, because it boils more easily and soaks longer before boiling. If it is placed in the strong sun at noon, the water springs up and needs to be topped up. Generally, the water/rice ratio is 3:1. But you can start with 2:1 and add water carefully; thus preventing the rice from getting mushy.
