Indian style rice with curry

Soak 300g of rice in cold water for 1 hour. Then wash it three times with cold water. A little oil – to cover the bottom of the pan. The rice is roasted for 5 to 10 minutes on the solar cooker, depending on how strong the sun is – 10 minutes in the morning sun, 5 minutes in the midday sun. Add 300 ml of cold water, 1 teaspoon of curry and salt to taste. Get stired. When the water is absorbed, add another 300 ml of water (second dose of water). Stir with a wooden spoon. The lid is removed for the last 10 minutes to brown nicely. The lid is put back on after the dish has cooled.

Mushrooms with rice and onions

Finely chopped mushrooms and onions are put in a little oil and stewed in the pan for 20-30 minutes, depending on the strength of the sun. Add the rice and 300ml of water. Then proceed as per the previous recipe.
